How’s the Market?

2019 real estate numbers are in for March….  Home appreciation still tracking at 4% for the Portland Metro area.  Sellers are coming to the market, new listing up 43% over February.  Interest rates lower now than one month ago, this is helping drive buyers into the market. 

March Market Watch:

Pending sales rose 5.4% from February 2019

Closed Sale rose 26% from a month ago.

New listing up from February at 43%.

Residential listing time on market slightly down from 75 days last month to 68 days in March.  Luxury home inventory above $600K is higher, on average is 132 days.  Homes priced between $300-400K are on the market at 60 days or less.

Housing inventory remains low at 2.2 months (still a Seller’s Market).

What about those interest rates?  Good news, 30 year fixed 4.3 % & 15 year Fixed 3.8%.  Even more for your money now!!!
